The 2008 NCAA basketball conference tournaments play a critical role in determining which men's basketball teams will make it into the 2008 NCAA tournament. Because many conference tournaments carry automatic 2008 NCAA tournament bids, these tournaments represent the only hope for many teams that would not otherwise get chosen come Selection Sunday.

Using our 2008 season power ratings, which take into account game scores and home court advantage (two key stats not incorporated in the 2008 NCAA basketball RPI ratings used by the NCAA tournament selection committee), we calculate round by round bracket odds for the 2008 men's basketball conference tournaments.

These conference tournament bracket odds ignore conference tournament seeds, which can sometimes lead to the false perception that a given team is much better than a lower-seeded conference rival.
